WELCOME TO TORQUAY
Riviera International Conference Centre, Torquay
Torquay, the very heart of the English Riviera, in October with those balmy late summer evenings, why would you not want to be there? Add to that the draw of another BCVA Congress, the highlight of our CPD and social year, and you can be sure that everyone who's anyone in the world of cattle vets will be there.
The programme, very ably presided over and put together again by Kate Richards, has something for everyone; contentious and political issues have been merged with clinical topics and workshops aimed at those with differing interests and experience. After last year’s success we are running a morning of presentations aimed at the new graduates. Although if last year is anything to go by, the room will be packed with not just the recently qualified. Hollie and Rachel have, again, put together an exciting programme. The usual multi-stream approach has again been adopted to allow a flexibility for delegates to tailor their itinerary to their interests and requirements. Please take time to peruse the programme so that nothing of interest is missed!
As usual we are grateful to our sponsors for allowing us to arrange a social programme that will complement the clinical and scientific programme and again, there will be something for everyone with good food, fine wine and entertainment; husbands, wives, and partners will all be very welcome (as long as they bring their tails, ball gowns and dancing shoes!).
Southport in 2009 will be a hard act to follow but we are confident that, with your help, Torquay in 2010 will be even better. See you there!
