This year we return to Southport with its updated conference facilities and newly opened onsite conference hotel, which will allow us to keep all the facets that go to making a truly memorable congress, within easy reach of all delegates.
 
Congress this year will feature a keynote speaker from the US, Professor Paul Gibbs from the University of Florida, who will be talking on global perspectives on climate change and the changing ecology of disease.
 
On the opening day a review of displaced abomasum's, aetiology and various methods of treatment both medically and surgically promises to offer some lively debate on a condition that has grown in prevalence in recent years.
 
The other days have a wide spectrum of topics on offer including the annual state of the Nation address from the CVO, prior to a presentation concerning Responsibility and Cost Sharing of endemic disease within the UK.
 
New this year, we have young graduate sessions running on Saturday morning. These have been compiled by recent graduates Hollie Dale and Rachel Horsley, and is specifically aimed at recent graduates and will include short presentations on everyday topics with plenty of take home messages.
