Every livestock farm suffers from disease and health conditions that affect the health, welfare and productivity of the animals. This situation is not inevitable.
Some farms manage to achieve a high health status and control many of the common conditions that affect farm livestock. This indicates that proper healthcare and planning for health can achieve improved animal health, welfare and productivity.
